This is an inclusive class, tailored to meet your needs through the use of props, hands-on assists, and meaningful interactions, ensuring everyone feels supported and empowered.

Emily is a highly experienced Yoga Alliance teacher trainer, psychologist, university lecturer, and a lifelong student. She has studied and taught yoga across the globe, with significant time spent in Mysore, India – the birthplace of Ashtanga yoga. Her teaching style is welcoming, deeply inclusive, and enriched by her expertise in behavior change psychology, seamlessly integrating her diverse knowledge into every class.

Transformative Breathwork with Xpandbreathwork

we are excited to invite you to a unique Breathwork workshop an hour and a half of deep healing and connection.

Led by Adam, a former PT and professional Muay-Thai fighter with a rich background in Health and Wellbeing, this session promises to be a powerful experience. With a passion for Breathwork and Dance-Music, Adam carefully curates his workshops to guide you on a spiritual and musical journey, helping you tap into altered states of consciousness. This practice offers profound healing for both body and mind, and fosters a deeper connection with yourself and others.

Mandala Studio wants to celebrate with you
6 week meditation course

Join this six-week Meditation Workshop, starting January 31, 2025, at Mandala Yoga Studio in Southport. Perfect for beginners, the course focuses on calming the mind, exploring inner awareness, and developing a personal meditation practice. Participants will learn about chakras, conscious breathing techniques, and the fundamentals of meditation. Classes run every Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Rocketbeats 6 week takeover

RocketBeats Yoga Foundations: A 5-Week Journey with Sarah Mangan
Join Sarah Mangan for a 5-week series of RocketBeats Yoga classes designed to build both strength and flexibility through dynamic vinyasa flows. Inspired by the Rocket tradition, RocketBeats Yoga blends modern techniques with creative directions, encouraging a playful and exploratory practice.

This series focuses on a unique "directional travel" system: each class hones in on a specific anatomical movement – UP, DOWN, FORWARDS, and BACKWARDS – while the foundational
Week 1 session provides the base for all subsequent flows. Whether you're a beginner looking to expand your practice or an experienced yogi craving variety, this series offers something for everyone.

What to Expect:

Week 1: Base Sequence (Saturday, 1st Feb, 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM)

Week 2: UP - Shoulder strength, arm balances, inversions, and weight-bearing poses

Week 3: DOWN - Hip flexibility, standing balances, and hip openers

Week 4: FORWARDS - Core engagement, deep stretches, and forward inversions ( This session will be held on the Sunday 23rd Feb)

Week 5: BACKWARDS - Backbends, spinal strength, and supine poses

ARRIVING TO THE STUDIO

Mandala is a space for us all. To ensure things run smoothly and respectful for us all we ask if you would please honour the following.
Arrive with enough time to set up your spot before the teacher starts class.  We know sometimes getting to a yoga class can be stressful which is the very thing we want to combat. Some sessions will have a receptionist and if you are running late you can still sneak in. Unfortunately if the class does not have someone on the desk we can not wait for late comers as the doors will need to be locked and class started on time.Late arrivals and no shows will be charged via the mind and body terms and conditions.
Please remove outdoor shoes at the reception area so that we can keep outside dirt and debris away from the studio.
Check in at reception as soon as you arrive. If your unable to attend please cancel on the app.
Under-18’s are to be accompanied by an adult on their first visit,subject to receipt of written permission from their parent or guardian.
Locker facilities are available in the changing area for valuables such as keys, mobile phones etc. NO phones are to enter the studio space itself
We have both male and female changing rooms at the studio. If you are attending the earlier evening class, please ensure that you leave the studio twenty minutes after the class has finished.

ENTERING THE STUDIO

We want the studio to provide solace that is needed so I ask as you enter the studio to find silence many students like to take the time to centre and meditate.
We also know that yoga builds and creates a wonderful community for friends who become family so please use the seating area to your heart’s content and chat away before practice begins.
No shoes, flip-flops, gum, mobiles, bags or any other personal belongings in the yoga room.

COVID 19

If you have any symptoms associated with COVID -19 or have been in contact with anyone who has we insist that you do not attend any classes at the studio until a period of 10 days has passed.  We care deeply about our community and wish to keep everyone safe throughout their time with us.
Classes are mixed with different heating levels up to  38 degrees. Please be comfortable knowing that the ventilation system in place ensures a clean a flow throughout the studio space.  studio, to ensure the risk of the spread of disease is absolutely minimal.
During the classes the teachers will not be offering any physical adjustments and will not be walking around the room unless absolutely essential.
Between classes the studio space will be sanitised, and at the end of each day. Every 7 days the whole studio space is sanitised with a specialist product that remains actively killing pathogens including COVID-19 for a minimum of 7 days.
