Welcome to Karma Kidz: Empowering Kids Through Movement, Mindfulness and Meditation

Hi there, and welcome to Karma Kidz!

My name is Natalie, and I’m so excited to launch this platform online to help empower kids through the practice of yoga and meditation.

At Karma Kidz, our mission is simple: to equip children with the mindfulness tools they need to feel grounded, calm, and confident as they grow.


Why I Started Karma Kidz

I first began using grounding techniques when I taught a street-dance Crew and ran a dance school. Breathing techniques and calming exercises were so valuable and that is how Karma Kidz was born back in 2014. Yoga and Meditation has played a huge role in my life. I’ve seen first hand how it can bring clarity and calm during stressful times, help process emotions, and create a sense of balance. But the truth is, like many adults, I didn’t discover these tools until much later in life.

I often wonder: What if I had learned these practices as a child?

That’s what inspired me to start Karma Kidz. I want to offer children and their families the tools that I wish I’d had growing up. The simple act of taking a deep breath, learning to pause, or imagining a place of calm can make a huge difference—not just in childhood, but for the rest of their lives.

By empowering kids with these grounding skills now, we’re also shaping mindful, resilient adults in the future.


Why Meditation Matters for Kids

We live in a fast-paced, high-pressure world where kids are juggling school, extracurriculars, and social dynamics—all while navigating their own emotions and thoughts. Meditation offers a way to slow down and reconnect with themselves.

Here are just a few of the benefits of meditation for kids:

  • Emotional regulation: Teaches them how to manage big feelings like frustration or anxiety.
