Ever had that gut feeling you can’t explain? Like you meet someone and instantly know they’re good news you actually feel your nervous system take a deep sigh!! Then there’s the bad news ones but you can’t quite put your finger on it or prove it — and two weeks later they key your car and you’re like, “Ohhh, there it is.” Yeah. That’s me, I feel it alllllll But also… I’m the girl who will Google “basal ganglia pattern recognition” at 2 a.m. because I want the neuroscience receipts. I trust my intuition but I like the science. Like I love crystals and cortisol studies. I’ll sage my house, then read PubMed articles about the vagus nerve.
Welcome to my brain: half goddess temple, half science lab.
See, according to my Human Design chart, I’m not built to just “take someone’s word for it.” I have to live it. Journey it. Experiment until I feel the truth in my bones. Wow that brings so much clarity like I’m in this for the teaching, but also damn it really could I just not have read about this experience!!
So when people talk about spiritual awakening? I couldn’t just nod politely and pretend I’ve had one if I haven’t. My face would 100% betray me. (If you know me, you know this.) Basically, I can’t lie about enlightenment, And honestly, I think that’s a good thing, because every insight I share, I’ve actually wrestled with: body, brain, soul, all of it.
Ok so let me get to the point of my ramblings…
Divine Feminine — WTF Even Is That?
So let’s talk divine feminine. Spoiler: it’s not about gender or pink dresses or goddess hashtags (though I love a good goddess hashtag). Its not looking a certain way, its simple. It’s energy. A vibe. The part of us that feels, nurtures, receives, creates. Where divine masculine wants to do and conquer, divine feminine wants to be and flow. It’s yin to yang, moon to sun, intuition to logic. In mythology it’s Shakti, in Taoism it’s Yin, in psychology it’s the archetype of the Mother, the Muse, the Priestess.
For me, divine feminine shows up when I slow down enough to hear my body whisper: “Hey love, you’re exhausted just rest.”
Or when I create something just because it feels good, not because it’s productive. Or when I hold someone’s heartbreak in silence instead of trying to fix it.
That’s her. That’s the energy.
Here’s where my brains like lets geek out and find out
What’s the Actual Science Behind Intuition?
You see intuition isn’t some woo‑woo fairy dust, it’s your incredible brain working overtime behind the scenes.
- Pattern recognition: Your subconscious brain is scanning billions of bits of info (body language, tone, vibes) and matching them to memories. By the time you consciously “feel” it, your brain’s already run the analysis.
- Gut‑brain connection: Your belly isn’t just for snacks. It has 500 million neurons, your “second brain.” Ever had a gut feeling? That’s literal neuroscience.
- Heart‑brain coherence: When your heart rhythms are smooth (through deep breathing, gratitude), your brain actually gets clearer signals. Love is literally good for decision‑making.
- Interoception: Fancy word for “body awareness.” People with higher interoception (feeling their heartbeat, noticing tension) are proven to have more accurate intuition.
So when I say my “body knows,” it’s not just poetic — it’s biology. My nervous system has my back.
This is the part that blows my mind: all the things spirituality calls “divine feminine wisdom” cycles, stillness, body knowing — are exactly the things neuroscience says sharpen intuition.
This is where Divine Feminine Meets Neuroscience!!!
- Moon rituals? That’s you syncing with natural cycles — also known to regulate hormones and stress response.
- Meditation? Activates the anterior cingulate cortex, the part of the brain that tunes into subtle signals.
- Embodiment practices (somatics, dance, yoga) Train interoception — aka your ability to notice those gut clues.
Woo‑woo and science aren’t enemies — they’re two sides of the same story. One gives you poetry, the other gives you proof.
I used to think intuition was a bit flaky. Like horoscopes and bad Wi‑Fi: sometimes it works, sometimes it’s glitching. I will be honest I think there is still a lot of spiritual gaslighting and toxicity playing out. You know its trendy now to be woowoo, But for me the more I explore — in my body, in my journal, in neuroscience articles — the more I realize:
My intuition isn’t magic or logic. It’s both. It’s my body collecting data faster than my mind can keep up, and my soul translating it into a whisper I can trust.
And the divine feminine? She’s the part of me that trusts that whisper. That slows down. That lets it be sacred even if I can’t chart it on a graph.
Maybe my ponderings hit a nerve, maybe you agree, hey maybe you don’t know. If you’ve ever felt torn — like you want to light a candle chant the affirmations and read the study… you’re not broken. You’re bilingual.
The goddess and the lab coat can absolutely sit at the same table. In fact, I think they’re better together. When I let them talk to each other, that’s where the magic — and the truth — happens.
Tell me your weirdest gut‑feeling story in the comments — I promise I’ll share mine on 8/8.
With love and empowering energy

This is part 1 of a 3 part blog I’m writing whilst I’m away. Why I’m Starting Here (Cancer → Leo Season)
We’ve just moved from My Cancer season — watery, soft, inner world — into Leo season: bold, fiery, look‑at‑me‑I‑have‑a‑mane energy.
I wanted to start with the divine feminine because this is the container for everything I’m about to share next:
- My awakening story from Egypt to (7.7.7) — this is coming to the web world on Lionsgate (8/8).
- My recent activation (HEKA) — the lightning bolt upgrade I’ll talk about later this month.
The feminine is what lets me hold all of it — the softness, the reflection, the courage to roar.
