How has 2025 started for you? If you follow me on socials well you will see that I’ve not really been on socials. I’ve basically been in hibernation. Wintering is a season we often resist. A time when the world slows, the days shorten, and we’re invited to retreat inward. For me, it’s become a sacred practice—a time of rest, nurturing, and listening deeply. It’s in the silence of winter that I begin to hear the whispers of what’s next.
Wintering isn’t about productivity. It’s about presence. I give myself permission to step back, to honour the natural rhythm of life, and to simply be. I explore new ideas and projects, often in fits and starts, knowing full well they may shift and evolve before they find their true form. I let them rest, just as I rest, allowing inspiration to flow in its own time.
It’s also a time of releasing. In the stillness, I can see what no longer serves me—the stagnant energy, old beliefs, or projects that have quietly withered. I honour them, thank them, and let them go. This clearing creates space for something new to grow.
Once the soil is ready, I begin to prepare it with care, sprinkling my intentions and planting seeds of curiosity. I don’t rush. I trust. The light always returns, and when it does, I let it in. Slowly, gently, I begin to take those first steps forward.
By spring, these seeds—some nurtured, some left to surprise me—begin to bloom. The details of projects become clearer. The energy begins to rise, and I feel ready to share, build, and create with joy and intention.
But in winter? In winter, I write. I reflect. I sit in stillness. I listen. I give myself the gift of being fully present in life. Because only by being still can I hear the call of what’s to come.
As I write this, I’m still in my wintering energy. Still nurturing ideas, still releasing what no longer fits, still preparing the soil. But I can feel the light returning, and with it, the quiet excitement of what’s to come.
Planting Seeds While Wintering
As I slowly begin to emerge from my wintering energy, I’ve decided to reveal a few seeds that have come to me that I feel I’m ready to let a little light in.—sharing my projections and plans for the future. Why? Part accountability, part curiosity, and maybe a sprinkle of magic. After all, isn’t that why we’re here? To be curious, to experience, and to see what grows when we plant something new?
✨ So, here it is—the garden of my 2025/2026 vision:
April 2025: In-person Reiki Level One Attunements at the studio. A nurturing day of healing, learning, and connection.
July 2025: The Silent Yoga Disco event! Move differently, heal differently, and feel the vibes under the stars. This one has been calling me for a while
Coming Soon: Teacher Training Courses—dates and details on my 200-hour, 300-hour, CPD, and mentorship weekends will be revealed soon.
End 2025: The big one! Re-Energise Reiki Retreat—a weekend to rest, recharge, and empower yourself with accredited Reiki training and bespoke healing practices.
The Significance of Today 29/1/2025
Chinese New Year ushers in a fresh cycle, and this year, we step into the Year of the Year of the Snake]. This is a time of shedding old layers, stepping into new wisdom, and embracing transformation. Pair that with an Aquarius New Moon, and we’re looking at a powerful call to think bigger, break old patterns, and step into the wild, untamed version of ourselves.
It’s a time for vision. For trusting that what we plant now—our intentions, our whispers to the universe—will unfold exactly as they should.
Big Plans, But Balance First
I’ve got big plans for 2025 within my business. Some things are already in motion, some are still resting in the soil, waiting for the right time. And I’m okay with that. Because first and foremost, I’m a mama. This year, that means embracing a house move, a new school, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with change.
Some ideas will flourish fast. Others will take longer. But they’re all coming.
I’m so excited to see where these seeds take root, but who knows—other events might pop up along the way! I’m leaving space for curiosity, flow, and spontaneity. The best journeys often lead to unexpected blooms, don’t they?
I’ve planted the seeds and now I’m giving them light. Let’s see what grows.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—what resonates with you? What are you planting this year? Drop your ideas below, or DM me if you’re ready to join this journey. Let’s grow together.
